For the second year in a row, the Winnipeg Curling Clubs Championships included a 2 person Stick Division comprised of 8 teams representing many leagues from the Winnipeg Region. Following 4 days of keen competition Ralph Nespor and Rob LaCombe (AMCC) needed an extra end to defeat Resby Coutts/Norm Magnusson(FRCC) capturing the very unique trophy created by Britta and Fred Spiring.
This Championship presented an excellent opportunity to showcase the growing sport of 2 person stick.
