The Roy Minish 2-Person Stick Bonspiel

Twenty four teams participated in in the annual Roy Minish stick bonspiel, held on Feb. 15 in Swan River Curling Club.

Teams from Bowsman. Roblin, Kamsack, and Norquay. Joined with Swan River curlers for a fun day of curling.

Based on the winnings from the four games played by each team, the winners this year were Mildred & Brian Cotton from Swan River. The runner-up was a tie between the team of Jim Webster and Barry Tall of Swan River, and Gerald Peesker and Kim Kindiak of Kamsack. Everyone enjoyed getting back to having a bonspiel.

Thank you to our two sponsors, The Minish Group and the Westwood Inn, for their ongoing support. Also a thank-you to Debbie Webster for keeping us fed, and Ice maker Kent Meyn for keeping the ice in good shape. Thanks to all the curlers for taking part in the event.
