After a “come-and-try-it” session March 31, when ten curlers got together to talk about the unique rules and the basic strategies of two-person stick curling (and to play the game, some for the first time), Charleswood Curling Club has decided to go ahead with a new 2-person stick league for the 2025-26 season.
The league will play at 1:00PM on Mondays and, depending on demand, might also play a second draw at 2PM.
Details will be finalized over the summer but expressions of interest are invited now to aid in planning. All stick curlers; current Charleswood members AND others looking for a Monday afternoon draw time, are invited to send an email to Charleswood Manager Perry Samagalski (charleswoodcc@shaw.ca).
